670K of personal data (SKPD)
Tuesday, May 24th, 2005The personal data of about 670K customers of different American banks have been stolen. The data were collected bij employees and sold to a man who told he was the representative of a debt collecting agency.
This could be the biggest theft of bank data till now. A lot of people have more than one accounts and it is counted that we’re talking about 1.000K accounts.
