I wouldn’t lie saying there is something strange about last time killings in the UK.
I am not from the UK, so this could be a serious prejudice, but to me it seems that not only the victims are getting younger (not in this case), but so are the perpetrators. Here two girls, aged 14 and 15, a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old…
Strange things happen here in The Netherlands too. Kids and grown ups get killed because they say things perpetrators don´t like, but the perpetrators aren´t as young as in the UK.
Are bad habbits spreading from the US, through Anglo-Saxon countries to the rest of Europe and the world?
I really don´t like this tendency.
Will you be the next one?!
this article triggered my thoughts
this is part 2!!
we have this [dutch] foundation against ‘zinloos geweld’, ‘meaningless violence’.

As an information specialist (read: upgraded librarian) I am always glad to read about people reading. I know reading is good for your education, but it is also good for training your mind. It learns you to combine thoughts, but not at least it to develops your fantasy. Fantasy is a great property for people…
The NOP World Culture Score index surveyed 30,000 people in 30 countries from December 2004 to February 2005 and found out that Indians are the biggest readers in the world.
I always thought that Japanese were, but hey, they only read these Manga comics. In fact this is not reading, but looking at pictures with a just very small (amount of) text. ;) But on the other hand it is a saying that “1 picture says more then a thousand words.”
Does this count?!

You would think there is no use for stripping in the middle of the forest.
But there is!
Criminal gangs are unlawfully chopping wood in eastern India. These gangs are helped by women from this poverty stricken region of Jharkhand, by stripping naked to distract police and forest guards.
So, not the women or the criminals run away, but the forest guards (and police?) do, because they don’t want to get any troubles.
Now the forest department is planning to recruit and train female foresters to take care of these women.
What fear of nudity can do to you…
I always say: “there are only two species: boys and girls…”

This is old, old ‘news’…. But still good for a big laugh…
Talkshow host Oprah Zulu…eh…Winfrey says she is a member of one of the strongest of African tribes, the Zulus. What a coincidence…
She felt so “at home” and had her DNA tested.
These modern techniques are so great for genealogical research. I hope she had some DNA of her mother or grandmother.
I still have to plough cards, books and microfiches.
Maybe I am a Zulu too?!
But don’t forget I love Indian food the most…

I saw something about this on television last week.
Two teengirls exchanging lives. The modeling girl that went to a farm, and I saw her sitting in a caravan, next to a group of countryside youngsters drinking beer. They were ‘going out’.
Later she explained something about what it was all about. “Suddenly they were talking about Renault, so I thought “hey, this is something I know: a car. Did I know they were talking about tractors”.
There seems to be real problem with these illegal pubs in barns. We’re not talking family parties here, but professional pubs where a big group of people can drink cheap.
The main thing here is to get drunk with your friends, not to have a nice evening chatting with friends and having a drink.
Great Fun!! Can I come? Please?
