The NOP World Culture Score index surveyed 30,000 people in 30 countries from December 2004 to February 2005 and found out that Indians are the biggest readers in the world.
I always thought that Japanese were, but hey, they only read these Manga comics. In fact this is not reading, but looking at pictures with a just very small (amount of) text. ;) But on the other hand it is a saying that “1 picture says more then a thousand words.”
Does this count?!
