Soft Move (SM)

The American Beverage Association has made a wise decision. They realize that child obesity is a very big problem in the US indeed (as it is growing in Europe and other parts of this globe).

They could have said: “this is none of my business”, but they took their responsibility and are stopping selling soft drinks in vending machines on elementary schools. There we only be water, 100% juice, sports drinks, no-calorie soft drinks and low-calorie juice drinks in the vending machines.

In Europe we are not yet on that level, but we can wait for it. Within a few years we are will have the same problems. The signs are already there.

But the ABA, which has Coca Cola and Pepsi as members, made a nice start.
