St. John Ambulance, a UK-based charity has made an iPod ready first aid guide available for anyone.

My first idea was that the information would be in any text based form, but the files are on their site in MP3, AAC and Real-format.
If you need them, they are on your device, that’s the idea.

It is for sure a very nice initiative and goal, but from my critical point of view I am always curious whether it will be helpfull in the situation when you need it.
If you are going to listen to it before, just like a first aid course, okay. It is ready for podcasting too!
But listen to it while you are IN the specific situation. I have my doubts.

BUT: Use it, to save lives!
