A Texas lawyer is going to try to to take the popes diplomatic immunity from him. According to the lawyer the pope is a head of a church, and not the head of state.

He is half right, because the Vatican has a special sovereign status within the Republic of Italy. Just like Monaco has within France. But okay, nice thing to try!

The step is one to get recognised that the Catholic Church didn’t do enough against the abuse of children, in fact facilitated it. In The US this is a big case now.
