It seems that Spain had discriminating laws for stutterers, till a few days ago. Stutterers couldn’t get a job in more than 100 (read: one hundred!) jobs.

This sounds like the Middle Ages to me.
For some jobs it could not always be convenient with regard to safety, but this goes (way to) far.
