There are songs about love that is chemical. And this is true according to researchers of the University of Pavia, in (where else – Bella) Italia.

The researchers found a chemical in the brain that causes these ‘butterflies’, euphoria and dependance and clammy hands. These proteins are called neurotrophins.

There is one sad thing about the neurotrophins. They have a storage life of only one year (!).
This doesn’t mean that you aren’t in love anymore, but the symptoms are faiding away.

How sad….
