Experimental Greetz (EG)

This weekend I went for walk with my girlfriend and her kids. We didn’t want to walk for nothing, so we decided to do some geocaching too. Just in case.

While walking we had to walk on the bicycle path for a short period. That’s not very difficult, because as you may know, our country is full of it.

The kids started a ‘game’. At first you think “hey, what are you doing?”, but after that I saw the joke of it and did see it from another point of view. I am sure I did the same when I was young…
Every person that drove by was greeted by a friendly ‘hello’ or ‘good afternoon’ and of course they wanted to know how many people would react.

I was surprised by the amount of people that drove past us, without saying anything.

To me this became a kind of social survey about how people react on a friendly game of kids, or in fact the greeting of a stranger.
The results were not really convincing and don’t give me a good feeling for the future. Sadly enough….
