Life is changing rapidly. More and more we are expecting to have a direct link with the Internet, whatever we do, where ever we are.

As you may have read now, I have been on a camping site last week. In a mobile home for the first (and last) time in my life and writing this blog on my notebook.
There is power and so I can use it here. But there is no way to send my thoughts to the Internet anyhow.

While travelling to Israel the security officer at the airport asked me why I was taking my notebook abroad while being on vacation.
The nice thing about notebook computers is that they are multi-functional and can contain a backup of the hundreds of picture I usually take. I can write my blogs and send them away. I can send e-mail from my own perosnal system if I want to.
But for that you really need a connection.

I wrote about this before (here). Life and technology are changing the right way rapidly, but it is still very difficult to find a connection. In the villages, towns and even cities….

I want a connection and I want it NOW!!

I am writing this in a mobile home in France.

It is about 11:00 (24 hours clock) and the sun is trying to get through the clouds.
This is a few days vacations, but I could live here. Not in the mobile home, but in France…

So do H. and M., an elder couple that work as exploitant managers for a large holidays company. They clean the mobile homes too, do some administrative work and some other things.
For them it isn’t a vacation, but for sure:

They can stil live a ‘life like a god in France…’

Wine, cheese and baguette, what else do you need?!

My humble opinion is that school uniforms are great!

In the Netherlands schoolchildren don’t wear uniforms anymore for decades now. I don’t know why and when exactly the wearing of uniforms was stopped.

So once and a while the discussions starts again here.
On one hand the critics say that children aren’t individuals anymore. On the other side we hear the voices that tell us that uniforms are a good way of stopping the almost natural way of selection based on the color of skin, financial situation and the (mostly exclusive and expensive) brands of clothing.

Bring back the uniforms to schools!

Just like you can’t imagine how life is being deaf or blind, for there is now way to imagine how your way of thinking changes knowing that your life will end within a few weeks or months (or maybe a few years).

A lot of people that are in that situation say that they start living in the intensity they would have loved earlier on. Life is less rushed and the contacts with other people are deeper and the moments are moments to really enjoy.

How great it would be if these values would come back without becoming incurably ill!

Our lives will change… dramatically…
