My humble opinion is that school uniforms are great!
In the Netherlands schoolchildren don’t wear uniforms anymore for decades now. I don’t know why and when exactly the wearing of uniforms was stopped.
So once and a while the discussions starts again here.
On one hand the critics say that children aren’t individuals anymore. On the other side we hear the voices that tell us that uniforms are a good way of stopping the almost natural way of selection based on the color of skin, financial situation and the (mostly exclusive and expensive) brands of clothing.
Bring back the uniforms to schools!

I say we not only make kids wear uniforms, but we should make the uniforms utterly ridiculous. I’m thinking something along the lines of rodeo clown garb.
A little humility would do the kids of today some good!
