Coke Switch (CS)

Sunday, April 16th, 2006

It is official now. I made my switch to Pepsi cola.

I did always prefer the taste of Coca Cola, but enough is enough. The happy days are over.

After the introduction of the new (and much more expensive!) Coke bottle in The Netherlands there was an 4-for-the-price-of-3 introduction offer. Now a few months later, we know this was an temporary offer.

I am not the only one that did switch the last few weeks. Still the small Coca Cola pallets are getting empty, but not as fast as we are used to see.

Coca Cola says that it is an A-brand and want to get paid for as an A-brand.

Not my money!

Childish Loser (BL)

Friday, April 14th, 2006

Silvio Berlusconi is showing the world that he is an selfish, childish and especially a sad loser.

He didn’t win, so now whole Italy is against him and fraudulent.

Berlusconi has been the leader of the European banana republic Italy, almost 5 years now.

Game Over!

No Technology (T)

Thursday, April 13th, 2006

You would have the idea that, except for certain groups, technlogy is, to a certain extend, common property to anyone now.

But a Dutch survey says that 50 percent of the small- and middle scale business seem not to understand that there are big advantages to be taken from using different kind of new technologies, like making a call over internet (voip) or even teleconferencing over the internet.
Now lots of bussiness men and -women are driving around to meet.

Of course personal contact is important. But more important is to learn to judge when you want that personal contact and when you really don’t need to go there personally.
Even the use of instant messengers, like ICQ, Yahoo, Google Talk or if it must be MSN Messenger in a bussiness environment doesn’t come to their minds here in Europe.
If you are having a lot of phone calls with an important supplier, why don’t you think about instant messaging (IM). It is fast, and cheap.

Communication in business could be that simple…

(And yes, I know about some (big) companies that use IM internally. These guys did think about it!)
